Himachal: Young man murdered girl in hotel room, cut her into pieces and was caught while carrying her in a bag

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Kullu, May 16A heart-wrenching case of murder in broad daylight has come to light in a private hotel in the tourist town of Manali in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.Here, an accused young man murdered a girl in a hotel, cut her into pieces and carried her away in a bag, when the accused was caught.

Manali police station in-charge said that the young man and the girl had reached Manali as tourists.Then the accused youth murdered the girl in a private hotel room, cut her into pieces and carried her body in a bag.But when a taxi was called by the accused to return by Volvo bus.Then the accused young man had asked the hotel staff to keep the bag containing the dead body of the girl in the taxi and when the bag containing the dead body was not picked up by the staff, he became suspicious and immediately informed the police.

Immediately the Manali police team reached the hotel and examined the bag and found out that the dead body of the girl had been cut into pieces and stuffed into a bag. The Manali police took possession of the bag and arrested the accused and conducted a rigorous interrogation. The murdered girl has been identified as Sheetal From Maharashtra and the accused has been identified as Vinod From Haryana by Manali police station in-charge.

Manali police station in-charge has registered a case of murder against the accused Vinod and started a strict interrogation.

An investigation has been started as to why the accused Vinod murdered Sheetal.
