Shimla: Rehearsal of Himachal Day at Ridge Ground, 14 contingents will take part in the parade
14 contingents of Police, Home Guard, NSS, NCC and Home Guard Band will participate in the parade.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla , April 13: Preparations have started at the Ridge Ground in Shimla for the state level program of Himachal Day to be celebrated on 15th April. This time during the program, a total of 14 contingents including Police, Home Guard, NSS will participate in the parade, whose rehearsal is going on.

Cultural programs including police and home guard bands will be the center of attraction. Due to the code of conduct, this time contingents from other states will not take part in the parade. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla will attend the program as chief guest.

SP Shimla Sanjeev Gandhi said that the rehearsal of the parade is going on at the Ridge Ground for the state level program of Himachal Day. The administration has made elaborate arrangements for security and traffic management. So that people do not face inconvenience. 14 contingents of Police, Home Guard, NSS, NCC and Home Guard Band will participate in the parade.
