Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, April 11: Himachal Pradesh’s daughter Mehak Chandel has become the finalist of the grand finale of Miss England-2024, she can be the first Himachali girl to achieve this feat. The daughter has given a new identity to Himachal Pradesh in the beauty world. Mehak Chandel, who originally belongs to Chintpurni region, has displayed her talent many times on foreign soil. The finale of Miss England 2024 will be held on 16 and 17 May in London.

Eight thousand girls from England took part in the beauty contest being held in London, out of which, after several rounds of competition, 40 have been selected for the finals of Miss England 2024. Mehak Chandel is also there. Father Anil Chandel is a businessman in London, while his mother Inderpal Ohri Chandel is a mathematics professor in London College. She is also active in social service.

21 year old Mehak Chandel, who has a deep attachment to Himachali culture, was born in South Hall, London, she is the eldest of three siblings. Mehak, who has completed her graduation degree in Criminology, is currently working with an organization working for school children.Mehak Chandel has also made a mark in modeling. She has a keen interest in social service and has successfully run campaigns to collect funds to help the needy.
She believes that apart from outer beauty, beauty should also be in thoughts & opinions and beauty should be used for positive and creative works.
Miss Chandel is trying to collect charity for cancer victims and has also started a campaign for this. In future, she wants to pursue postgraduate education in Psychology.
