Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 06: Former Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma, who joined BJP from Congress, has sent a defamation notice to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. This five-page notice has been sent by Sudhir Sharma’s lawyer to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, a defamation notice of Rs 5 crore. According to the notice, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu repeatedly hurled mud at Sudhir Sharma in his speeches. Many derogatory comments have been made, due to which he has been defamed.
According to the notice issued by Sudhir Sharma, CM Sukhu has made many false allegations and wrong comments against Sudhir Sharma. The Chief Minister’s statements have been regularly published and broadcast in newspapers, TV channels and even social media. Sudhir Sharma’s image, reputation and honor have been harmed by his statement. To compensate for this, a defamation notice of Rs 5 crore has been sent to the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.

After sending a notice of Rs 5 crore to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, BJP leader Sudhir Sharma said that the Chief Minister should present before the public the evidence of what he says. The Chief Minister is making statements out of frustration. He said whose captive crusher has been installed in Hamirpur? The Chief Minister should explain why he went to Dubai in the name of investor meet in a private function. Why was there any government expenditure on his visit to Dubai?
Taking aim at the Chief Minister, Sudhir Sharma asked whether the Chief Minister is returning Rs 100 crore of the Medical Device Park to the Central Government or not. The Chief Minister should also answer this. He said that the Chief Minister does not have any evidence for his allegations, but he has all the evidence. He said that in the coming time the Chief Minister will have to answer all the questions in the court. Even today the CM makes statements as if he is the head of the Youth Congress.

It is noteworthy that 6 Congress and 3 independent MLAs including Sudhir Sharma had given tickets to BJP candidate Harsh Mahajan during the Rajya Sabha elections. Despite the government having full majority, Congress candidate Abhishek Manu Singhvi lost the election. After this, all these MLAs were out of Himachal for about a month. After cross voting, 6 Congress MLAs were disqualified by the Speaker. During this period, the phase of rhetoric continued and statements were made from both sides, from social media to in front of media cameras.
Meanwhile, six rebel Congress MLAs and three independent MLAs joined BJP and now BJP has made these six its candidates for the by-elections to be held on six seats. According to the notice sent by Sudhir Sharma, the Chief Minister has made false and defamatory allegations in his statements, which has defamed him.
