Massive Fire: Loss Worth Lakhs To Poor Due To Fire In Fish Shop On Nahan-Paonta Sahib Highway
According to the information, Mangaram, a resident of Rukhri, has suffered a loss of approximately Rs 2.5 lakh. The villagers have also demanded compensation for the economically weak Manga Ram.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Nahan, April 05: Manga Ram of Satiwala Panchayat, who earns his living by selling fish, has suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees due to the fire in his shop. This accident happened near Hotel Jai Clark at around quarter to 7 o’clock. According to preliminary information, about Rs 10,000 along with about 25 kg of fish, fridge, induction and gas furnace etc. were completely burnt to ashes in the massive fire accident.

It is being told that the fire broke out due to leakage in the gas pipe. The fire brigade personnel did not delay even a minute in reaching the spot. By the time the fire could be controlled, it was too late. As soon as the information was received, Nahan police also reached the spot.
