Shimla Shocked: Priest Molests Girl Serving In Temple, Threatens To Kill Her, FIR Registered
The matter is of Durga temple located near ISBT bus stand. According to the complaint lodged by the girl, when she was serving in the Durga temple, the priest of the temple committed obscene acts with the girl. If the girl protested, the priest threatened to kill her.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 01: A shameful case of obscene acts and molestation of a girl who had come to serve in a Durga temple under Baluganj police station of Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, has come to light. The 20 year old girl had gone to Durga temple to worship. The girl was doing service work in the Durga temple. During this time the priest of the temple molested the girl.

The girl has lodged a complaint in the Baluganj police station. Baluganj police station has registered a case of molestation against the priest and taken up investigation. The matter is of Durga temple located near ISBT bus stand. According to the complaint lodged by the girl, when she was serving in the Durga temple, the priest of the temple committed obscene acts with the girl. If the girl protested, the priest threatened to kill her.

On the complaint of the victim, Baluganj police took immediate action and registered a case against the priest under sections 354, 354A and 506 of the IPC. However, the accused priest has not been taken into custody yet. The accused priest is said to be a native of Uttarakhand.
