The girl was going to get married after 18 days. When the girl was going to her home with new enthusiasm and dreams, a pickup coming from Chandigarh hit the girl from behind. Due to which the girl got seriously injured. The pickup driver did not stop at the spot and ran away leaving the suffering girl on the road.

After some time, when the local people came to know about this accident, the girl was taken to the hospital. In view of the serious condition of the girl in the hospital, she was referred to IGMC Shimla. The girl’s family members have accused the pickup driver of running away to Manimajra after the accident. When the pickup driver came this morning, he caught him and handed him over to the police.

Expressing anger, the girl’s family told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the pickup driver was so vicious that after injuring the girl, he tried to make various changes in the vehicle to escape so that he could not be caught by anyone. After changing the vehicle, when he was going back towards Shimla, the pickup driver’s vehicle was identified near Rabon, after which the pickup driver was caught and handed over to the police.

The family expressed their anger and said that the strictest action should be taken against this pickup driver, so that no one can commit such an incident in future. Family members told that the girl’s wedding was on the 18th, preparations for which were going on at home. Today the girl was returning home after leaving her job to buy wedding items. Meanwhile, the pickup driver hit the girl. Now the girl is being treated in IGMC Shimla.
