Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, March 30: A road accident has occurred in Panoh under Sadar police station, where a girl died and two were injured due to a car accident. The deceased girl has been identified as Sonika, daughter of Rakesh Chand, resident of Rakkar, district Kangra.

According to the information, Kangra resident Sonika was going from Chandigarh to Kangra in a car along with her sister Monica and Mohali resident Sumit. Meanwhile, on reaching Panoh on Saturday morning, the car went out of control and collided with a tree. All the injured in the accident were brought to the regional hospital Una with the help of 108, where Sonika died during treatment, while the treatment of the other two injured is going on.

The police have started further action by conducting post-mortem of the dead body at Una Regional Hospital. Superintendent of Police Una Rakesh Singh said that the police has sent the body for post-mortem.
