Shimla Shocked: A Young Man Who Had Gone To Play Holi With Friends Was Beaten To Death, All Accused Absconded After The Incident.
A young man of Nepali origin was beaten to death by his friends in Bhadrash area of Rampur sub-division of Shimla district.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 27: A young man of Nepali origin was beaten to death by his friends in Bhadrash area of Rampur sub-division of Shimla district.
According to complete information, the young man had gone to his friends to celebrate Holi. During this time, his friends beat him to death. The killers fled after committing the crime. Rampur police is raiding various places to arrest the accused. All the accused involved in the murder are of Nepali origin.
On the complaint of the deceased’s cousin, the police have registered a case of murder against the criminals. The deceased has been identified as Rajendra (32).

The complainant, Dil Bahadur, cousin of the deceased, said in his complaint to the police that he along with his cousin Rajendra had gone to his friend Nirmal in Bhadrash to celebrate Holi on the evening of March 24.
Nirmal has a room on rent here. Sagar and two other friends of Nepali origin were also present there. Everyone was celebrating Holi when Sagar and two others started beating Rajendra with sticks and punches. When Rajendra’s condition became critical, they were taking him to the hospital when he died on the way.

DSP Rampur Naresh Sharma said that after taking immediate action, a case has been registered under sections 302, 323 and 34 of IPC. Police teams have been formed to arrest the absconding accused and raids are being conducted in their search.
