Lok Sabha Election: Hot Seat Mandi Preparations To Make Rani Fight In Front Of ‘Queen’, Political Temperature Rises

The committee formed under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri to look into political and economic matters is also in favor of convincing Pratibha Singh. Even in the internal survey, Pratibha Singh is being considered a strong candidate from Mandi. Congress, which became active after the announcement of Kangana’s ticket from BJP, has started lobbying for Pratibha’s name. According to sources, Pratibha has visited the Mandi parliamentary constituency spread over Mandi, Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu, Shimla, Chamba several times in the last one and a half years. He is well acquainted with every field.

In such a situation, instead of any new candidate, Himachal Pradesh Congress President Pratibha Singh should be fielded again from Mandi parliamentary seat. In the 20 elections held so far, Congress has won 14 times, BJP five times and Janata Party once. Pratibha and former Chief Minister late Virbhadra have won elections from here thrice each. In the meeting held in Shimla late on Monday evening, it was agreed only to convince Pratibha.
