Let us tell you that although Holi will be celebrated across the country tomorrow, the tradition of celebrating Holi festival a day earlier has been going on in Mandi for centuries. People came out of their homes early in the morning and wished Holi by applying colors to their relatives, neighbors and acquaintances.

After this, people reached the market and applied gulal to Lord Shri Krishna in the Raj Madhav Rai temple here. After this people gathered on the Seri Manch where DJ dance was organised.

Here people danced to the tunes of the DJ and wished Holi by applying gulal to each other. Let us tell you that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people of neighboring states regarding Holi of Mandi and people come here especially to celebrate the festival of Holi.

Although there is no evidence as to why the festival of Holi is celebrated a day earlier in Mandi, but this tradition has been going on for centuries. Even today people celebrate it in the same way and celebrate the festival of Holi a day before.
