Himachal News: Big Rocks Fell On Kalka-Shimla NH, Road Blocked, These Are Alternative Routes
According to the information, the landslide occurred at around 7:30 in the morning. The fortunate thing is that there was no loss of life during the incident.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Solan, March 18: Kalka-Shimla National Highway-5 has been blocked near Barog bypass. Due to landslide here, big rocks fell on the road. Now vehicular movement on the bypass from Kumarhatti towards Solan is closed. Vehicles have been diverted from Kumarhatti-Barog-Solan road.

According to the information, the landslide occurred at around 7:30 in the morning. The fortunate thing is that there was no loss of life during the incident. At the time of the land slide, no vehicle was passing through here. Due to landslide, there was jam on both sides of the highway.

People informed the police about the landslide. Police team reached the spot. Besides, the company constructing the four lane was also informed about the landslide and has been asked to immediately remove the rocks on the bypass and ensure smooth traffic.
