Sensational Murder Himachal: First He Killed His Wife 30 Years Younger To Him, Then He Took Dreadful Step

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Solan, March 15: A sensational incident has come to light from Jamli village of Kasauli sub-division of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Last night, 50-year-old Tara Singh, resident of Uttarakhand, first beat his 30-year-old wife Vineeta to death with a stick and then committed suicide. The police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem. The post mortem will be conducted on Saturday only after the arrival of the family members.
During investigation, the police found out that both of them were originally from Uttarakhand and had come here to work in someone’s fields. Last night, the accused Tara Singh (50) beat the deceased Vineeta (20) to death over some issue and then ended the affair.

Solan Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said that on Friday, the Deputy Head of Kotbeja Panchayat informed in Kasauli police station that a person has hanged himself in the village, and the body of a woman is also lying dead.
On information, the Solan police team reached the spot. On investigation of the incident, it was found that Tara Singh, son of Dan Singh, resident of Champawat district of Uttarakhand, was working as a farmer along with his wife Vineeta since October 2023. Police have registered a case under sections of murder in Kasauli police station. SP said that the stick used in the murder has been recovered.

At present, it is a mystery as to what happened between the husband and wife that first Tara Singh killed his wife and then he himself embraced death. Generally, such sensational incidents do not happen in hilly regions, it is natural that such an incident will create a sensation in the entire area.
On the other hand, investigation has revealed that everything was normal between the two on Thursday, the police has interrogated the person who last saw them.
