Mandi News: Sardar Patel University Pro VC Professor Anupama Singh Appeals To The Governor To Fill The Vacant Posts
Professor Anupama Singh told that the result of JOA IT to be filled in the university is pending for the last one and a half years. The government is also declaring the results of the remaining JOA IT but is not paying any attention to filling the university posts. More than 100 posts including teaching and non-teaching are lying vacant in the university.

Professor Anupama Singh told that the result of JOA IT to be filled in the university is pending for the last one and a half years. Sardar Patel University has the responsibility of 46 colleges and it is becoming difficult to function due to shortage of staff for their proper functioning. In such a situation, She raised a demand from the Governor that he should issue an order to the government to fill the vacant posts as soon as possible. More than 60 non-teaching posts should be filled as soon as possible, only then the university will be able to run properly.

Along with this, Anupama Singh also requested the Governor to transfer the 478 bighas of land identified for the university to the name of the university as soon as possible. He said that grants from the Central Government on many subjects are not being received because the University does not have its own land. The Central Government has set a condition for giving the grant that the land should be in the name of the university. Therefore, the government should be ordered to transfer the land to the name of the university as soon as possible. On this occasion, other officers and staff members of the university were also present with her.
