Himachal News: 24 Year Old Married Woman Committed Suicide By Hanging, Died
Usha Devi family members alleged that her in-laws had strangulated her to death.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Bilaspur, March 12: A 24-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging herself in Gwalthai, an industrial area of Bilaspur district. On receiving the information, the police team reached Gwalthai, registered the case and started investigation.
Maternal side made serious allegations against in-laws –
According to complete information, Usha Devi, a 24-year-old woman from Samtehan village was married to Ravi Kumar of Gwalthai. After receiving the information, Usha Devi maternal side reached Gwalthai. The family members of deceased Usha Devi say that Usha Devi in-laws used to harass her daughter. Usha Devi family members alleged that her in-laws had strangulated her to death.

On the other hand, as soon as the information was received, DSP Naina Devi Vikrant Bonsra reached the Gwalthai. He said that on the demand of the maternal side, the in-laws were arrested and taken to Kot police station for questioning.

Confirming the matter, SHO Kot Bhag Singh said that the police have registered the case and started investigation and the post-mortem of the deceased has been conducted and the body has been handed over to the family members.
