Nitin Gadkari On Himachal Tour On Tuesday: Foundation Stone Of Many Projects Including Hamirpur-Mandi NH, CM Sukhu Will Not Be Present In the Program
Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 04: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari is visiting Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. During his visit, Nitin Gadkari is going to lay the foundation stone of various projects from Dosadka in Hamirpur district. Nitin Gadkari is going to land at the helipad of NIT Hamirpur through helicopter. Union Minister Anurag Thakur is going to be present on this occasion. On the other hand, there was speculation about Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu visit to Hamirpur, but CM Sukhu is not going to attend this program.

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari is going to lay the foundation stone of two road routes connected to Hamirpur district as well as various projects of entire Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. The construction of 110 km long road from Hamirpur district to Mandi district is going to provide excellent transportation facilities to the people. The work of Hamirpur-Mandi project was going on for the last one year. With the construction of Hamirpur-Mandi project, the distance from Hamirpur district to the tourist city Manali is also going to be reduced. Presently the distance from Hamirpur district to tourist city Manali is 124 km, which is going to reduce to 109 km.
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari is going to lay the foundation stone of 40 km long NH between Hamirpur district to Karnohal and 27 km National Highway between Karnohal to Kallouhan. Both these phases come under Hamirpur-Mandi NH.
Hamirpur-Mandi NH is being constructed in various phases. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari is going to lay the foundation stone of two phases of Hamirpur-Mandi NH Project on Tuesday. Nitin Gadkari is also going to lay the foundation stone of the proposed double lane railway crossing at a cost of Rs 19 crore, tunnel work on NH 305 and slope protection work of the hill of Parwanoo-Solan National Highway at a cost of Rs 266 crore.

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari is also going to lay the foundation stone of the proposed Theog bypass at a cost of Rs 54 crore and Kalruhi Khad bridge on NH 70 to be built at a cost of Rs 17 crore. Apart from this, the foundation stone of Shahpur-Singhuta-Chuwadi road from Rangas in Hamirpur district to Bagchhal via Badsar road is going to be laid.
Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is going to lay the foundation stone of a 560 meter long bridge to be built on the Swan Canal in Una district and an 800 meter long span bridge to be built on the Beas river connecting Terrace and Sthana in Kangra district under the Setu Bandhan Yojana.

Hamirpur DC Amarjit Singh on Monday A review meeting has been held with administrative and police officials, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and officials of various local projects under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways regarding the proposed visit of Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari to Hamirpur on March 5. Hamirpur DC Amarjeet Singh said that on March 5 at 3 pm, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari is going to lay the foundation stone of various highway projects of Himachal Pradesh at the police ground of Dosadka in Hamirpur district. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is going to return to Delhi immediately after the entire program.
Hamirpur District Administration Deputy Commissioner Amarjeet Singh has instructed all the officers to make all arrangements as per security, traffic arrangements and protocols.

ADC Manesh Yadav, ASP Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Pawan Sharma, Regional Transport Officer Ankush Sharma, NHAI Project Director Vikram Singh Meena, Home Guards Commandant Sushil Kumar, Chief Medical Officer Dr. RK Agnihotri and other officers were present in the review meeting.

Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has said that Chief Minister Sukhu has tried to mislead women. Congress came to power by lying and now the promise of giving Rs. 1500 to women is also false. The budget has been passed and it has been announced six days later. If there is no provision in the budget then how will the announcement be made? The code of conduct will be imposed on April 1, after that where will the women get Rs. 1500. According to the 2011 census, there are 38 lakh women in Himachal Pradesh. The number of women between 18 to 60 years is 22 lakh. Social security scheme is running in Himachal Pradesh. The total number of beneficiaries in Social security scheme is 7.83 lakh. The number of women in Social security scheme is 4.55 lakh. So is Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu talking about giving Rs. 1500 only to five lakh women?
