Himachal News: HRTC Driver Found Cash Worth Rs 38,000 in the Bus, Returned it to the Woman and Proved His Honesty

Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Bilaspur, March 04: In today’s times, the greed for some money makes a person lose his senses. But the driver of Bilaspur depot of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has set an example of honesty. The entire matter pertains to the bus driver of Himachal Road Transport Corporation under Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. The HRTC bus was going from Kasol towards Bilaspur.

Meanwhile, a woman from Kasohal was sitting in an HRTC bus to go to Bilaspur. The woman passenger had got down at her destination but had forgotten her bag in the HRTC bus itself. After this, when the bus reached HRTC workshop, the driver eyes fell on the bag. When HRTC bus driver Amarchand opened the bag, there were about Rs 38 thousand in it. The driver informed the regional manager about the bag. After this, when the bag was searched, her address was found in it. After contacting this address , the woman was given information about the bag. After this the woman reached HRTC office and collected her bag.

All the officers and the woman have also praised the honesty of driver Amarchand.

Regional Manager of HRTC Bilaspur, Vivek Lakhanpal told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the entire matter is of February 22, the bag was returned to the woman on Monday.
