Himachal Big News: Sukhu Government’s Gift To Employees, 4 Percent Installment of DA Released
From April 1, 2024, DA will increase from 34 percent to 38 percent. This will benefit 2.5 lakh employees of the state. This increase will be considered effective from April 1.
Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 02: Amidst the political turmoil in Himachal Pradesh, the Sukhu government has gifted 4 percent DA installment to the employees. Notification has been issued in this regard. Let us tell you that the Chief Minister had also announced the DA installment in the budget. Notification has been issued on Saturday.

From April 1, 2024, DA will increase from 34 percent to 38 percent. This will benefit 2.5 lakh employees of the state. This increase will be considered effective from April 1. According to the notification of the Finance Department, four percent additional DA will be paid in the April salary to be given in May. DA arrears from July 1, 2022 onwards will be credited to the account and separate orders will be issued for the same.
According to the order, the dues accrued after July 1, 2022 will be paid into the account in the manner prescribed by separate orders. The notification has been issued by the Principal Secretary (Finance) of Himachal.
