Himachal Weather: Fresh Snowfall In Kinnaur, Cold Wave Increased, Minimum Temperature In Minus At Six Places In The State
Chances of rain and snowfall at many places in the middle and higher reaches of the state on 26, 27, 29 February and 1 March.
The weather has again changed in the high mountain areas of Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Snowfall has been recorded in the higher reaches of Kinnaur district from Friday night to Saturday morning. Due to snowfall, the entire Kinnaur district is in the grip of severe cold. Bus movement on many rural routes has come to a standstill due to snowfall.

In Kinnaur district, 10 cm snowfall has been recorded in Nichar, Kalpa 4.3, Sangla 2.8 and Pooh 0.6 cm. On the other hand, more than 100 roads in the state are still closed due to snowfall in the past few days.

Today, there is sunshine and light clouds in Himachal Pradesh capital Shimla and surrounding areas. Due to cold wave, chill has increased in the state. We will have to wait for bus service through Atal Tunnel and Jalori Pass.

Roads from both ends of Atal Tunnel to Keylong-Manali and Kullu have not been restored yet. Buses are not running through Jalodi Pass for 25 days. There are 11 bus routes on both the highways.
Know the weather condition in Himachal Pradesh till March 1 –
According to Meteorological Center Shimla, the rain and snowfall is likely to continue in many parts of the state till March 1. Due to the activity of a fresh western disturbance in the state, there are chances of rain and snowfall at many places in the middle and higher reaches of the state on 26, 27, 29 February and 1 March. During this period, there is a possibility of rain in the plains.
Yellow alert of thunderstorm and lightning has also been issued at some places.

Minimum temperature in Shimla 0.0, Sundernagar 3.1, Bhuntar 2.9, Kalpa -3.8, Dharamshala 5.2, Una 4.2, Nahan 7.0, Palampur 2.7, Solan 1.4, Manali 1.6, Kangra 5.7, Mandi 4.3, Bilaspur 4.5, Chamba 5.8, Dalhousie 1.2, Jubbarhatti. 2.3, Kufri -2.2, Kukumseri -12.8, Narkanda -3.8, Bharmour -0.5, Rekong Peo -0.8, Dhaula Kuan 4.7, Barthin 2.6, Paonta Sahib 10.0 and Sarahan recorded 0.0 degree Celsius.
