HP Budget: HPU Gets Rs 100 Crore Grant, SPU Gets Rs 20 Crore Grant, Infrastructure Will Be Developed

The Central Government has released Rs 100 crore to develop study works and infrastructure in Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.

Along with this, while Sardar Patel University Mandi has received a budget of Rs 10 crore from the Himachal Pradesh government And SPU has received a grant of Rs 20 crore from the Central Government. HPU and SPU management has received grrant official letter.

This grant has been issued under the Prime Minister Higher Education Campaign.

Now the best smart classrooms, laboratories and other facilities can be increased in universities.

This grant has also been issued to other universities of the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also hold talks with the university management on this subject through video conferencing on February 20.

Sardar Patel University Vice Chancellor Professor Anupama Singh has expressed gratitude to the central leadership including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for releasing the grant of Rs 20 crore.

Anupama Singh told that she went to Delhi several times this year for this grant and presented her views.

Anupama Singh told that This grant will help in the better functioning of the university. Sardar Patel University was established on 1 April 2022.

Education Minister Rohit Thakur said that this amount released from the Central Government will be used in a phased manner. He has thanked Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for this Grants. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Rohit Thakur recently met the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on this issue and other issues as well.
