The health of a candidate sitting on a hunger strike demanding early release of the result of JOA (IT) recruitment examination in Chaura Maidan of Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, suddenly deteriorated on Sunday. He was taken to IGMC Shimla in 108 ambulance.
He is undergoing treatment at IGMC. The JOA (IT) candidates sitting on a serial fast are demanding the Himachal government to declare the pending recruitment results soon. JOA IT candidates bluntly said that their agitation is going to continue until the Himachal government does not accept their demands.
Their future is at stake due to the result of JOA recruitment exam. In this cold season, the candidates are sitting on a hunger strike, but the Himachal government is not fulfilling their demand. They are not even being talked to. The candidates are taking turns on a 24-hour fast.
