Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is going to present the budget on Saturday. This budget for the financial year 2024-25 is being presented just before the Lok Sabha elections, so naturally Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will try to satisfy all sections of the society in this budget.
This budget may be tax free, but efforts to increase the state’s income can be seen in it. CM Sukhu can include a dozen new schemes in the budget.
This time too, CM can present a green budget by focusing on subjects like agriculture, horticulture, solar energy.
The CM is scheduled to start presenting the budget estimates at 11 am.
CM Sukhu will try to give something for everyone in the budget, including youth, women, elderly, employees, weaker sections of the society. The economic condition of the state is poor. The disaster that struck last year has also shaken the state’s infrastructure. The state has a debt of about Rs 90 thousand crores. There are restrictions on taking more loans from the Centre. The state’s sources of income are limited. In such a situation, this time also the budget may be in deficit.
