Many big announcements have been made in the budget of Municipal Corporation Shimla. The annual budget of the Municipal Corporation is being presented by Mayor Surendra Chauhan today at Bachat Bhawan. In the budget, it was announced to increase the cess on liquor from Rs 2 to Rs 10 per bottle. Along with this, green fees will be charged in the capital. Green fees will be collected through the app. This will generate an income of Rs 10 crore every year for the corporation.
Samples of elderly people will be taken free of cost from homes in the city. For the first time, there will be a census of abandoned dogs in the city. The target of 100 percent sterilization has been set. Unity Mall will be built with Rs 130 crores. At the same time, digital libraries will be built in the wards. At the same time, the city’s lifeline Circular Road will be widened with Rs 130 crore.
