Not a single public welfare scheme in the budget –
Not a single promise made by the Congress Sukhu government in its first budget has been fulfilled. The people of Himachal Pradesh have lost faith in the present government. Himachal Government should have made provision for public welfare schemes in the budget, but Himachal Government has not been able to fulfill even one of its guarantees yet. Even after a year, the Sukhu government is blaming the former Jairam government and the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. The Sukhu government has made the budget look like a fraud by taking a loan of Rs 14 thousand crores in 14 months.

CM Sukhu created a model to increase the revenue of the state –
Himachal Pradesh government is currently going through an economic crisis. Himachal government should increase its revenue receipts to meet the previous Jairam Thakur’s expenses and separate expenses for new schemes. Also, revenue expenditure should be reduced. The state government should work by creating a model that increases government revenue and reduces expenditure. No serious steps were taken to increase revenue in the previous Jairam Thakur government. Current Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu can work towards increasing the revenue by creating a model.

Sukhu government can easily give arrears to the pensioners of the state –
CM Sukhu should immediately stop the provision of providing free electricity to the public in Himachal Pradesh. The budget being spent on free electricity can easily clear the liabilities of government employees, pensioners and other sections of the state. After the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission, arrears should be given to the pensioners of the state under all circumstances. There is resentment among the pensioners of the state due to non-payment of arrears and 12 percent dearness allowance.

The budget will determine the future of state government employees –
The government employees of the state are waiting for the release of the installment of arrears and dearness allowance. The issue of arrears and dearness allowance has been raised with the Chief Minister. State employees have high expectations from the Sukhu government’s budget. On the other hand, arrears of new pay scale are also pending. The issue of filling vacant posts of employees in various departments of the state has also been raised before the CM. In the budget of CM Sukhu, the expectations regarding the future of the state employees have increased a lot.

There is full hope that the budget of the Sukhu government will live up to the expectations of the public. There will be a budget that will fulfill the public welfare schemes. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will definitely fulfill the expectations of the people of the entire state through the budget. Now I am not a part of the government, so how will the upcoming budget be, I will be able to comment more accurately only after the budget comes.
