Kisan Andolan: Entry Of Buses Stopped In Delhi, Himachal Road Transport Corporation Stopped Services

HRTC Managing Director Rohan Chand Thakur said that after the ban on entry of buses in Delhi, the bus service from Himachal to Delhi has been stopped. Delhi route buses are being run till Chandigarh. On Wednesday, buses will be run on the Delhi route only on the advisory of Haryana Police and Delhi Police. Passengers can get information before traveling between Chandigarh-Delhi by contacting Shimla control room 0177-2658765, Delhi control room 011-23868694 and Chandigarh number 94633-78026.

In view of the ban imposed on the entry of all buses in Delhi due to the farmers’ movement, Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has also stopped bus services on the Himachal Pradesh to Delhi route.

Delhi’s borders have been sealed for all types of vehicles. Now HRTC will operate bus services for Delhi only after getting the approval of Haryana and Delhi Police. On Tuesday, HRTC restricted all routes from Delhi to Chandigarh at 4 pm.

All buses coming from Delhi to Himachal Pradesh have been stopped in Delhi.

After the decrease in the number of passengers in buses going from Himachal Pradesh to Delhi, buses were run by route clubbing on Tuesday morning.

On Monday, less than 50 percent passengers were left in Delhi route buses, whereas on Tuesday the number of passengers reduced to 15 to 20 percent.

Routes have been clubbed from Shimla, Mandi, Kullu, Manali, Kangra, Dharamshala to Delhi.

Today HRTC buses will run only on the advisory of Haryana and Delhi Police –
