HRTC: Changes in the Routes of HRTC Buses of Chandigarh-Delhi due to Farmers Movement, Know The New Routes
HRTC Board General Manager Pankaj Singhal said that we are in constant touch with Haryana Police. Apart from HRTC, buses of Haryana Roadways and Punjab Roadways are also being run as per the advisory of Haryana Police.
- Farmers Movement: Route Changed For HRTC Buses Between Chandigarh-Delhi, Ridership Decreased.
Due to the farmers’ movement, the routes of Delhi-bound HRTC buses have been changed between Chandigarh and Delhi. Due to long queues of farmers’ tractors on the main highway, HRTC buses are being operated through alternative routes.
HRTC buses are being operated as per the advisory of Haryana Police.
HRTC management has entrusted the responsibility of coordination to Traffic Manager Chandigarh. Due to traffic jam on Monday, routes have been changed twice a day.
Due to lack of clear information about which route HRTC buses will operate, people are avoiding travelling, due to which the number of passengers in corporation management buses has also decreased.
On Monday morning, HRTC buses were sent for Delhi via Panchkula, Saha, Shahbad, Karnal, but after the traffic jam, Haryana Police diverted the HRTC buses to Saha Chowk Yamunanagar bypass route.
HRTC buses are going to be operated on Tuesday as per the latest advisory issued by Haryana Police.
