AIIMS Bilaspur Student Suicide Case: Suicide Note Recovered, Student Wrote That The Last Rites Should Be Performed With Full Rites

Before jumping from the fourth floor of AIIMS Bilaspur hostel, the MBBS student had written in the suicide note that this was going to be the first suicide of AIIMS Bilaspur. In the suicide note found in the student’s room, he had also expressed his desire to give his body to the medical college and cremate it with full rituals. In the suicide note, no one has been accused of instigating suicide, nor has anything been written about a love affair. However, some notes have been found in the mobile, in which talk of a love affair has come to light. Also, according to batchmate and roommate, student Parikshit used to talk to a girl, who is a student of AIIMS.
But some time ago he had stopped talking. On the other hand, on Monday, the police conducted the post-mortem of the body in the presence of the parents. After this the body has been handed over to them. The student’s mother has told the police that her son was talking nonsense for the last few days. He was under great stress on Saturday. At the same time, the police have seized the mobile phones of the deceased student and one of his friends. The student had talked to his friend on mobile before committing suicide. Police is collecting the data. Besides, the handwriting of the suicide note is also going to be matched.

On Sunday, a second year MBBS student committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the hostel of AIIMS Bilaspur. Student Parikshit Lekhi was a resident of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
On the other hand, DSP Headquarters Madan Dhiman said that the post-mortem of the body has been done after the arrival of the student parents. The parents have not expressed any suspicion on anyone. Further action is being taken.
