Mandi News: Hundreds Of Tearful Eyes Bid Last Farewell To Head Constable Shaukat Ali

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) head constable Shaukat Ali of Gawali Gram Panchayat of Padhar sub-division of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh died on the spot while on duty. On Tuesday morning, as soon as the mortal remains of martyr Shaukat Ali reached Gawali Gram Panchayat in an Indian Army vehicle, the eyes of thousands of people became moist. Martyr Shaukat Ali’s wife, two younger daughters and mother along with all the other family members were crying bitterly. CRPF Martyr Head Constable Shaukat Ali was recruited in the Indian Army wing CRPF in the year 2002 and was posted on duty in Imphal, Manipur in the current year 2023.

On January 4, martyred CRPF Head Constable Shaukat Ali was admitted to the Indian Army Hospital with immediate effect due to a sudden attack of brain hemorrhage while on duty in Imphal. CRPF martyr head constable Shaukat Ali died of a heart attack on January 21 while admitted in the Indian Army hospital. Martyr head constable Shaukat Ali leaves behind his wife and two young daughters. Martyr Shaukat Ali has been laid to rest with military honors of the Indian Army in the Kadiyar cemetery of Ghoghardhar.

Martyr Shaukat Ali has been given a tearful farewell by all the soldiers of the Indian Army, ex-servicemen and thousands of people of Gawali Gram Panchayat area. During the last farewell of martyr Shaukat Ali, more than two dozen ex-servicemen of Padhar sub-division also paid their last tribute to CRPF martyr head constable Shaukat Ali.

On behalf of Mandi district administration, SDM Padhar sub-division Surjit Singh Thakur has also registered his presence to pay tribute to martyred soldier Shaukat Ali.

Along with this, on behalf of former Himachal Pradesh Government Minister Kaul Singh Thakur, his grandson social worker Dr. Kulkirti Singh Thakur has also paid emotional tribute to Martyr Shaukat Ali.

Apart from this, General Secretary of Mandi District Congress Committee Joginder Singh Guleria, Gawali Gram Panchayat Head Sunil Dogra, Gawali Gram Panchayat Deputy Head Jeevan Singh, Senior Vice President of Drang Congress and Gawali Gram Panchayat Committee member Lekhram Thakur, Ex-Servicemen League Padhar Unit President Captain Hem. Singh, Secretary Commando Jitendra Kumar also paid emotional tribute to martyred Head Constable Shaukat Ali.
