Shimla News: Actors Nana Patekar And Rajpal Yadav Met Chief Minister Sukhu

Famous Bollywood actors Nana Patekar and comedian Rajpal Yadav, Bollywood film producer Anil Sharma along with all other unit members of Bollywood Film Journey have paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at his official residence Oak Over. Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that the Himachal Pradesh Government is working to promote film production in the entire Himachal Pradesh on a large scale. Himachal Pradesh is famous all over the world for its rich culture, ancient history and picturesque places.

CM Sukhu said that a comprehensive film policy is being prepared by the Himachal Pradesh government to develop Himachal Pradesh as the most preferred destination for film production. Under the comprehensive film policy, a Film Facilitation Center is going to be established in the Information and Public Relations Department of Himachal Pradesh, which will work as a single window and through the online application process within three working days through the Film Facilitation Center. All approvals and permissions related to film production are also going to be easily ensured.

CM Sukhu has said that the Himachal Pradesh government is going to provide best facilities to all the filmmakers as well as the best and most modern developed shooting locations. CM Sukhu said that the Himachal Pradesh government is also going to provide permission to all the film units to use the airstrips and helipads located at various places in Himachal Pradesh for outdoor shooting of films in Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that the Himachal Pradesh Government is also considering instituting an annual film award for all excellent films shot at least fifty percent in Himachal Pradesh.

CM Sukhu said that the Himachal Pradesh government is also going to set up a Film Development Fund soon for successfully organizing all the film festivals, awards and all other activities.
