Mandi News: Private Bus Lost Control And Overturned On The Road Near Pandoh Dam, All Passengers Safe

A private bus of Anjali Transport went out of control and overturned badly on the road at around 3 pm on Monday near the PVC turn adjacent to Pandoh Dam in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. The most fortunate thing was that the private bus did not fall into the river, otherwise there could have been every possibility of a serious accident. During the entire accident, about twenty-five people were traveling towards their destination in the private bus of Anjali Transport. Four passengers have suffered serious injuries in the entire bus accident, all the remaining twenty one passengers are completely safe.

Anjali Transport’s private bus was coming from Kullu district towards Mandi district. According to the initial information received from the Mandi District Police Administration, first of all a tyre of the private bus of Anjali Transport had sunk into the pothole on the road. Due to one tire of the private bus sinking into the pit, some other parts of the private bus got broken and the private bus went out of control and overturned on the road. A car parked on the road was also hit by a complete bus accident, the glass of the car was also broken.

After the complete bus accident, relief and rescue operations were started with immediate effect by the local people present on the spot. Besides, 108 ambulances from the local Pandoh hospital also immediately reached the spot and all the partially injured bus passengers were admitted to the Pandoh hospital for first aid. Pandoh police also reached the spot and started the investigation process into all the important causes of the bus accident.
