Swachh Survekshan 2023: Himachal’s Ranking Fell, Moved From 4th To 18th Place, Shimla-Nagrota The Cleanest Cities.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India has announced the results of the Swachh Survekshan year 2023.

Nagrota Bagwan of Kangra district has secured the first position in the entire Himachal Pradesh.

Similarly, in the state of Himachal Pradesh, Kangra district has got the fifth position, Jwalamukhi has got the seventh position, Dehragopipur has got the thirteenth position, Palampur has got the nineteenth position, Noorpur has got the twenty-seventh position, Jawali has got the thirty-fifth position, Dharamshala has got the thirty-seventh position and Shahpur has got the fiftieth position in the cleanliness survey 2023.

Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla also got award in cleanliness survey 2023 –

Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, has been given the award for cleanliness in the capital of India, New Delhi. This is the first award that any city in Himachal Pradesh has received in the category of cleanliness system. The award for cleanliness has been received by Shimla Municipal Corporation Mayor Surendra Chauhan, Shimla MC Commissioner and Director of Urban Development Department.
