Cm Sukhu Principal Secretary Bharat Khera Appointed In Central Government, Notification Issued
Due to senior IAS officer Bharat Harbans Lal Kheda going on central deputation, it will be a big challenge for the Himachal Pradesh government to find a suitable officer for the post of Principal Secretary to the Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
Bharat Harbans Lal Kheda, senior IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh government and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, has got appointment in the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. Senior IAS officer Bharat Harbans Lal Kheda has been given the important responsibility of the post of Additional Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India.
In this regard, appointment orders have been issued by the Secretariat of the Appointment Committee of the Central Cabinet.
With senior IAS officer Bharat Harbans Lal Kheda going on central deputation, it will be a big challenge for the Himachal Pradesh government to find a suitable officer for the post of Principal Secretary to the Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. At present, all the administrative secretaries of Himachal Pradesh have important responsibility of five to six departments on an average.

Senior IAS officer Bharat Harbans Lal Kheda is currently single-handedly handling the responsibility of about ten departments in the Himachal Pradesh government.
Himachal Pradesh General Administration Department, Himachal Pradesh Secretariat Administration Department, Himachal Pradesh Energy Department, Himachal Pradesh Electricity Board, Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department, Himachal Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department, Himachal Pradesh Tax and Excise Department, Himachal Pradesh Parliamentary Work Apart from Senior IAS officer Bharat Harbans Lal Khera was also holding the charge of Principal Secretary to the Honorable Chief Minister of the state, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
Due to senior IAS officer Bharat Harbans Lal Kheda going to India’s capital New Delhi, it is not going to be an easy process for the Himachal Pradesh government to allocate all the important Ten departments of the Himachal Pradesh government.
