Nauni-Bharadighat fourlane: 252 Houses Will Come Under Four Lane From Nauni To Namhol, Will Be Acquired

Under package number three, all the processes related to land acquisition for four lane from Hamirpur to Bhanged have been completed. Besides, the work of completing the alignment DPR of Hamirpur-Bhaged four lane as soon as possible is also being done day and night on a war footing.

The award process of the tender of Nauni-Bharadighat four lane will be completed by the end of the coming month of February by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Tenders for the approximately seventeen and a half kilometer long Nauni-Bharadighat four lane were invited in the month of November 2023 last year. An estimated cost of approximately Rs 735 crore has been fixed on Nauni-Bharadighat four lane. A plan is being made to remove two hundred and fifty-two houses from Nauni to Namhol (Rajghati) under the JD of Nauni-Bharadighat four lane. Under package number three, all the processes related to land acquisition for four lane from Hamirpur to Bhanged have been completed. Besides, the work of completing the alignment DPR of Hamirpur-Bhaged four lane as soon as possible is also being done day and night on a war footing.

The tender process for Hamirpur-Bhaged four lane will also be started in the coming financial year. The acquisition process of a total of 37.6374 hectares of land for the four lane stretch from Nauni to Namhol has been completed. The fourlane stretch from Nauni to Namhol covers 18.0990 hectares of private land and 19.5384 hectares of government land. Two hundred and fifty-two houses, four thousand two hundred non-fruit plants as well as four hundred fruit plants are coming under the four lane stretch from Nauni to Namhol. An estimated amount of Rs 156 crore is being acquired for the Nauni-Bharadighat four lane. National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a notification after completing the entire process of ten percent amount withheld for Nauni-Bharadighat four lane. The notification of land 3A acquired for Nauni-Bharadighat four lane was issued on August 2, 2022.

The notification of 3D was released on 28 February 2023. Shimla-Mataur Fourlane Chief Project Officer Vikram Singh Meena told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the tender for Nauni-Bharadighat Fourlane will be awarded by the end of February. The entire work of updating the road alignment and DPR of Hamirpur-Bhaged four lane is also going on day and night on a war footing. The tender process for Hamirpur-Bhaged four lane will also be started in the upcoming financial year.
