Unemployment Hit: B.Tech Pass, Graduates Are Also Joining The Race To Become Van Mitra

Most of the youth in the race to become Van Mitra are graduates, engineers and B.Tech degree holders. This entire process of application of Van Mitra was started in the month of December to fill the vacant posts of ‘Van Mitra’ in Himachal Pradesh Forest Department.

Graduate and B.Tech degree candidates, who are facing the brunt of increasing unemployment in Himachal Pradesh, are now joining the race to become ‘Van Mitra’. Only two passed youth have been provided an opportunity by the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department for the government job of Van Mitra with a monthly salary of ten thousand rupees, but many degree holders are not eligible for the two thousand sixty one posts reserved in the twelve circles of Himachal Pradesh. Have also applied. More than ten thousand applications have been received for three hundred and nine posts reserved in five divisions of Mandi Circle.

Most of the applications received have been made by graduates, engineers and B.Tech degree holders. This first process of application of Van Mitras to fill the vacant posts in Himachal Pradesh Forest Department was started in the month of December. Till December 30, more than ten thousand applications were submitted in various forest divisions of Mandi district. Along with the youth who have secured ninety-two percent marks in two classes, engineers, graduates and candidates with B.Com, B.Tech degrees have also shown interest in becoming Van Mitra.

On Thursday, when all the young men and women interested in becoming Van Mitra were talked to in Jogindernagar forest division of Mandi district, most of them were graduate graduates. Physical efficiency has not been made mandatory by Himachal Pradesh Forest Department to become a Van Mitra. After the completion of the registration process, a race for boys and girls will be organized. Nearly 100 marks have been set by the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department to become a Van Mitra.

Apart from NSS, players, marks of BPL family as well as some other categories are also going to be added in the Van Mitras recruitment process.

On the other hand, ACF of Jogindernagar Forest Division Ashwani Kumar told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the recruitment process of Van Mitras will be started only after the sorting process of all the documents. After the interview, Van Mitra is going to be deployed in the beats included in the twelve circles of Himachal Pradesh. Maximum three hundred and nine Van Mitras will be recruited in Himachal Pradesh Forest Department in Mandi Circle.
