Poultry Farm Fire: Massive Fire In Poultry Farm, 5000 Chickens Burnt Alive, Loss Worth Lakhs
Watan Singh, in-charge of fire post Bijhri of Hamirpur district, told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that due to the massive fire, more than five thousand small and big chickens were burnt alive, while the property of the poultry farm also suffered a loss worth crores of rupees.
More than five thousand chickens have been burnt alive to ashes due to a massive fire that broke out in a poultry farm in Dalchehra of Badsar sub-division of Hamirpur district on Wednesday night. There was a total number of twelve thousand chickens in the poultry farm. Poultry farm plant owner Jagtar told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that he has suffered a loss worth crores of rupees due to the massive fire in the poultry farm. The entire incident of arson happened around 1:00 pm on Wednesday. Around 1:15 pm, the fire department Bijhari was informed by the local people about the entire incident of arson.

All the reasons behind the massive fire in the poultry farm have not been known yet. The poultry farm plant was started in partnership by Balveer Chandra and Jagtar Singh. As soon as the teams of Fire Department Bijhri Hamirpur District Administration received information about the massive arson incident, they reached the spot with immediate effect and the fire brigade personnel were able to complete the relief and rescue work on the entire fire. Watan Singh, in-charge of fire post Bijhari Hamirpur, told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that due to the massive arson, more than five thousand small and big chickens have been burnt alive, on the other hand, the property of the poultry farm has also been destroyed due to the massive arson. The loss worth crores of rupees is being estimated.
