The number of tourists in Himachal Pradesh has started increasing actively during the weekend before the beginning of the Christmas festival. Fifty percent of the hotel rooms in Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla and Chail as well as seventy percent of the hotel rooms in Kasauli have been booked for the entire weekend. On the other hand, a large number of tourists have started heading to Kullu-Manali to witness the fresh snowfall. Besides, the movement of tourists is continuously increasing in Dharamshala and Dalhousie during weekends. In the month of December, tourists have started visiting all the major tourist places of Himachal Pradesh in large numbers. Especially during weekends, a large number of tourists have started reaching Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla, tourist cities Manali, Chail, Kasauli. Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, is becoming increasingly crowded with tourists during weekends. On Saturday, there was a large gathering of tourists throughout the day at Ridge Ground and Mall Road of Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. A large number of tourists have started moving towards Shimla as well as Kufri and Narkanda. Tourists coming to Himachal Pradesh are now waiting for fresh snowfall again. Tourists seem to be most excited to have fun in the high snow peaks.

A large number of tourists are calling all the hotels in Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla to know when fresh snowfall is expected. Chief President of Federation of Himachal Hotel and Restaurants Association, Gajendra Singh Thakur said that the number of tourists has started increasing actively in Himachal Pradesh on the weekend before Christmas and New Year. Due to which advance booking for Christmas and New Year has also started. Manu Sood, General Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Travel Agents Association, told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that till now the booking of rooms in hotels of Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla and Chail has been completed fifty percent and in Kasauli also sixty to seventy percent has been completed. Apart from this, the fresh snowfall in Kullu-Manali is also attracting the tourists the most. Along with this, the expectations of tourism businessmen have increased due to increase in the number of tourists on weekends in Dharamshala and Dalhousie.

For The First Time In Himachal Pradesh, 30 Percent Discount Offer In Winter Tourist Season –

For the first time in Himachal Pradesh, due to the winter tourist season, twenty percent to thirty percent booking discount offer has also been made available to outside tourists at all tourist places. Along with this, to attract tourism in Himachal Pradesh, all the travel agencies of Himachal Pradesh are also offering 30 percent guaranteed discount to the tourists booking the package. In view of the current conditions, the tradition of announcing closure of all discount offers by hotels as well as travel agencies has been going on in Himachal Pradesh since 20th December. Thirty percent discount is being given by hotels and travel agencies of Himachal Pradesh due to the ongoing competition with the fresh snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir.
