Larji-Sainj road closed due to mountain crack in Sampagani of Kullu district –
An important decision has been taken by the Kullu District Administration Headquarters to close the Larji-Sainj road, which mainly connects the Sainj Valley of Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, for traffic management due to the collapse of the hills.
In Sampagani of Kullu district, at around 7 am on Tuesday, the Larji-Sainj road was closed by the Kullu district administration due to the sudden cracking of the hills and the falling of sharp rocks and the entire debris of heavy landslide came on the road.
Due to complete closure of Larji-Sainj main road of Kullu district for vehicular movement, HRTC buses as well as all trucks and vehicles supplying essential goods have also been stopped.
Due to blockage of Larji-Sainj road, not only the local people but also all the students studying in Sainz School are facing huge problems and troubles.
All the teams of Banjar Public Works Department of Kullu District Administration reached the spot and the work of removing heavy sharp rocks and all the debris from Larji-Sainj road is being done at a fast pace as soon as the weather clears.
