Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that Gobind Sagar Lake will soon see all types of water sports activities like cruises, motor boats, high speed boats and shikaras floating on the water.
Himachal Pradesh government has issued a notification for all types of water sports activities at Gobind Sagar Lake.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who reached Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, has made the most important announcement by issuing notification for all types of water sports activities in Gobind Sagar Lake.
All types of water sports activities will be started within a radius of about sixty kilometers in Gobind Sagar Lake of Bilaspur district.
On this occasion, Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that now all the tourists coming to Govind Sagar Lake will be able to easily enjoy water sports activities here, Due to which tourism of Himachal Pradesh will also get a boost.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that a large part of the Kiratpur-Nerchowk four-lane road passes through the roadside of Gobind Sagar Lake.
With the start of water sports activities for tourists in Gobind Sagar Lake, all the tourists passing through Kiratpur-Nerchowk four lane will now be seen attracted for tourist activities here.
Chief Minister Sukhu said that with the increase in tourist traffic, employment opportunities will also be created for water sports activities in Gobind Sagar Lake and Gobind Sagar Lake of Bilaspur district will be seen creating a new identity for itself across the world as a tourist destination.
Chief Minister Sukhu said that with the start of water sports activities in Gobind Sagar Lake and increase in the number of tourists, not only other religious places will also develop and other tourist places in Himachal Pradesh will also be able to develop afresh.
