Success Stories – Sheep Herder’s Daughter Shabu Becomes Assistant Professor, Will Teach Zoology In College

Shabu has easily passed the JRF exam after doing MSc in Zoology. Presently Shabu is working as a PhD scholar from IIM Jammu.Assistant Professor Shabu, daughter of Vijay Kumar of village Kuthed of Jwali sub-division of Kangra district, has been selected for the post of Assistant Professor after passing the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission examination. There is an atmosphere of complete happiness in Kuthed village after Shabu is selected. Shabu’s father Vijay Kumar is a sheep herder and his mother Jeevana Devi is a housewife.

Father Vijay Kumar told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that Shabu was diligent in studies from the beginning. Shabu completed his schooling from Government Senior Secondary School, Kuthed. For higher education, Shabbu took admission in Himachal Pradesh University and obtained B.Sc. and M.Sc. Zoology.

Shabu has passed JRF examination after doing MSc in Zoology. Presently Shabu is a PhD scholar at IIM Jammu. Shabu has achieved this difficult position by working hard and concentrating on his studies.
