On the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, a massive cleanliness campaign is being launched across the country on October 1. Under the cleanliness campaign, Income Tax Department officials of Shimla and Solan have started cleaning the bus stands and surrounding areas of these two cities from 10 am on October 1.
It has been decided to clean the areas for at least one hour.
A meeting was held today in the Income Tax Department office from Shimla in which the outline for the cleanliness campaign was prepared.
In the meeting, officials of the Income Tax Office located in Shimla and Solan and Employees participated.
Efforts are being made by the department to ensure participation of common people in the cleanliness campaign.
