Shimla News – On the lines of Himachal Pradesh Assembly, there is a plan to make Municipal Corporation Shimla also paperless.
On the lines of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, there is a plan to make Municipal Corporation Shimla also paperless. This information was given by Municipal Corporation Shimla Mayor Surendra Chauhan.
He said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has agreed to bring this scheme on the ground.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister also had discussions with the councilors during the monsoon session of the Assembly.
Work is underway on the plan to build a house under the e-legislation system in the Municipal Corporation town hall building.
Recently, when the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly were held, we accepted our full support, all the water councilors of our House, the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly were taken up and there we had a detailed discussion with the Honorable Chief Minister.
The system is general entry certificate, property tax, your garbage bill, water and electricity bill, everyone will be given digital registration, we are moving towards digitalization and others like this, by doing e-legislation in the Legislative Assembly itself, our work becomes more paperless.
Similarly, I told us that we will teach you this paper in the committee as well and for which we have also demanded and which the Honorable Chief Minister has also accepted that this is necessary and as much as we have, in which we all can apply on it.
You will get all the information through this medium and you will get answers to the questions as well.
The biggest benefit from this is that our paper expenses also get eliminated. A lot of paper is required regarding the environment, a lot of it is spent on stationery.
The work evolves a lot due to which it will be very beneficial.
