Good News For Himachal Tourists | Survey Completed, Now All Adventure Sports Activities Including Rafting And Paragliding Will Start in Kullu Manali From 16th September
To start adventure activities after the monsoon season in Kullu district, the technical committee is conducting a recce regarding river rafting in the Beas river.
A four-member team led by Avinash Negi, director of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Mountaineering Institute, Manali, inspected the Vyas river.He said that there is a ban on river rafting in the entire state including Kullu district from 15th July to 15th September.

He said that there is a ban on river rafting in the entire state including Kullu district from 15th July to 15th September.
Avinash Negi said that river rafting sites in Kullu and Manali are being reviewed.
Reiki has been done from Baveli to Vaishno Mata Temple.
He told that this place is safe for river rafting and activities like river rafting will be started by the government from 16th September.
Avinash Negi, Director of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Mountaineering Institute, Manali, while talking to Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma, said that Paragliding and river rafting activities are adventure sports and remain banned in the state till 15th September and start after 15th September.
But this time in view of the recent flash blood in Kullu Manali, it becomes more important to check the worthyness of the river.
Can river rafting be done comfortably in the same river as before or are some other things required for additional release? Keeping this in view, we have from yesterday started this rafting stretch as close to Kullu as Manali.
Have thought of re-inspecting them and have infected two stretches yesterday.
And both the stretches have been found to be fine as there has been no major change in the notified stretches.
Although a river has changed the courts at many places, but as per the condition of boulders and rafting, both the stretches were found fine and today we are going to see the third stretch which is ahead of Pirdi to Jidhi. And after that, only after seeing the stretch once, we will be able to know whether this third stretch is also suitable for rafting or not.
If these three stretches are found okay then rafting and other activities, all the adventure activities, will be started in Kullu Manali by the district administration.
