Una News : Una district unit of Himachal Road Transport Corporation Retired Employees Welfare Organization has demanded the state government to immediately implement the decision of the High Court regarding the pensioners of the corporation.
While presiding over a meeting held in Una today, District President of the organization Kishori Lal said that after the decision of the High Court, the state government should implement it immediately. He also accused the government of indifference towards the demands of pensioners.
He said – The arrears of DA which we have been paying since one year till date, have also been decided in our favor by the Honorable High Court for two years if our medical bills are not paid on time. We have to wait till then and our elderly friends are unable to get themselves treated.
And due to lack of money, they are not able to get their treatment done on time and they get the dues only after two or three years, hence we request you to resolve these issues at least within six months. Must be given to every employee who retires
A meeting of corporation’s pensioners was also held in Hamirpur today, on this occasion, Ajmer Thakur, president of the corporation’s Hamirpur district unit, said that a memorandum has been submitted to Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu regarding the nine-point demands of the corporation’s pensioners. He said that Till now nothing has been received except assurance from the government. Ajmer Thakur hoped that the government would fulfill the demands soon.
