Sirmour News : Water borne diseases are increasing rapidly in Sirmour district
Sirmour News : In view of the possibilities of water-borne diseases in Sirmaur district, the Jal Shakti Department has become fully alert. Talking to the journalists in Nahan, Superintending Engineer of the department, Rajeev Kumar Mahajan said that the possibilities of water-borne diseases increase after the rains. The employees have been instructed to clean the water storage tanks.
Sirmour News : In view of the possibilities of water-borne diseases in Sirmaur district, the Jal Shakti Department has become fully alert. Talking to the journalists in Nahan, Superintending Engineer of the department, Rajeev Kumar Mahajan said that the possibilities of water-borne diseases increase after the rains. The employees have been instructed to clean the water storage tanks.
He said that the department is also appealing for cooperation from the public representatives. Rajeev Kumar Mahajan said that cillorination of storage tanks will also be done, so that the possibility of spread of water borne diseases can be eliminated.
He said – This is a month and a half, this season of diseases will come. The department is in full action for that. We have given orders to the concerned vaccine to clean all the tanks and that work is going on war footing. We have told them that Public participation also has to be done in it.
One or the other public representative, whether it is deputy head, head, BDC member, Zilla Parishad member, he must do the cleanliness under his supervision in one way or the other and he should also keep his record.
