Himachal News : About 361 people have died due to heavy rains during the monsoon season in the state. Forty-one logs are still missing in different districts of the state. Onkar Sharma, Principal Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, told in Shimla today that due to the incidents of floods and landslides, a loss of eight thousand three hundred crore rupees has been estimated so far and this figure may still increase.

He said that 2,237 houses have been completely damaged due to landslides in the state, while about 10,000 houses have been partially damaged. After that, it is raining statewide and it has rained very heavily in three spells.

Ever since the rains started in the whole state, three hundred and sixty-two people have died and forty people are missing, which means that they are either buried or have collapsed. So if these two figures are combined, then the figure above 400 sits together on this.

As far as houses are concerned, about 2300 of our houses, which are kutcha and pucca, have been completely destroyed and around 10,000 have been partially damaged. figure sits above twelve thousand

In the same way talk about our whatever department or any commercial complex. So our cattle wealth has suffered a lot. Our poultry farm has suffered loss. Agriculture, horticulture everywhere, apart from the major loss that has happened, the one who does three thousand crores is of PWD department and two thousand cross The one who is going to do it is from the Jal Shakti Department.

Broadly speaking, this loss which I am talking about till now has approached about 8300 crores, the information which is not available till 12 o’clock today, will be ready by tomorrow evening, so this figure is going to be much higher. More than five hundred roads including the National Highway are blocked by the State Disaster Management Authority.
