Shimla News : Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has said that during the calamity in the state, the central government is openly helping Himachal while the Congress government of the state is terming the central help as insufficient.

In Shimla, he said that the central government has released two hundred crore rupees of SDRF for Himachal. Despite this, the state government is not satisfied with this amount, which is unfortunate.

Jairam Thakur said – I want to say very clearly that in the history of Himachal Pradesh till date, the cooperation that is being received from the Center for this disaster has never been received before in such circumstances.

And I think that the amount of two hundred crore rupees which has been released from the center yesterday also, has been given keeping in mind this situation here, keeping in mind the seriousness of this calamity and for that I would especially like to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and National President of the party Nadda.

I express my gratitude to the central government for the way it has set an example of sensitivity towards Himachal and for the cooperation it has given in terms of the help that Himachal Pradesh should get.

It is being said on behalf of the state government that the loss is more. They have the right to say that. The loss is more. It is fair to say that more help should be given. But despite that we are not satisfied that are not appropriate.
