Let us tell you that the Congress has made a serious allegation on the central government of running the election program on the pretext of the G20 summit. The Congress alleges that this is being done to divert public attention from important issues. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has tweeted about this.
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh tweeted and accused the central government of doing politics and running election programs on the pretext of the G20 conference. Jairam Ramesh wrote that ‘G20 was formed in 1999. 19 countries and the European Union are its members. Since its formation till now, G20 summit has been organized in 17 countries alternately and now it is India’s number.
Jairam Ramesh alleged that the way the election campaign is being run here and efforts are being made to create an atmosphere, it has not happened in any other country. The Congress leader said that this is being done to divert people’s attention from other important issues.
After this, the Congress leader gave examples of the events held in the Congress government and said that ‘we should remember that in 1983, the Non-Aligned Summit of more than 100 countries and after that the Commonwealth countries’ summit has been successfully organized in this New Delhi. But the then government did not use those opportunities for electoral gains. Targeting PM Modi, Jairam Ramesh wrote that ‘on 5 April 2014, he had described Narendra Modi as a great event manager. To divert the attention of the public, the Prime Minister is doing event management only.
