Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister PK Mishra chaired the seventh meeting of the Coordination Committee on India’s G20 Chairmanship at Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan. The meeting discussed the preparations for the summit as well as logistical aspects and progress. A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that the results on both the Sherpa and Finance tracks were reviewed. Presentations were made by Sherpa (G20), Secretary (Department of Economic Affairs) and Secretary (Information and Broadcasting) in this regard.

The Prime Minister’s Office said the meeting discussed the priorities of the Indian Presidency, including green growth, accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals, strong sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth, digital public infrastructure, gender equality and mobilizing reforms in multilateral institutions Was. Sherpa (G-20) Amitabh Kant said that a total of 185 meetings have been held, of which 13 were at the ministerial level. All the states and union territories of the country were kept under its ambit.
