UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is looking forward to attending the G-20 summit in New Delhi in September. Britain’s High Commissioner in India Alex Ellis gave this information while talking to the media on Friday. Ellis, who arrived at the art exhibition, said that he is happy that India is presiding over the G-20 this year.
India assumed the presidency of the G-20 on December 1, 2022. Under this, about 200 meetings will be organized across the country. This will be followed by the G-20 Summit in New Delhi on 9-10 September. In which the heads of state of the member countries of the group will be involved. Asked about India’s role as G-20 chair, Ellis said, “I think it’s great.” Because, unfortunately, the world is very divided right now because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

India has always attracted the rest of the world with its art, culture and diversity. Ellis has expressed hope that the G-20 conference will give a boost to art and culture.
Referring to the theme of India’s chairmanship of the G-20 – One Earth, One Family, One Future, the British envoy said everyone in India and Britain and the whole world has a culture and if you can find a way to connect that , then you can do a great job.
