Hamirpur : 117 drinking water schemes damaged due to rain in Hamirpur circle were restored

In Hamirpur circle, one hundred and seventeen drinking water schemes of the Jal Shakti Department, which were damaged due to heavy rains and floods in the past, have been restored. This mainly includes the drinking water schemes of Hamirpur city and Janpur.

Superintending Engineer of the department Neeraj Bhogal said that after the hard work of the officers and employees of the department, these schemes have been restored in five days.

He said that all the one hundred and seventy four drinking water schemes of Abhmirpur district are working smoothly after the schemes are fixed.

He told – This flood came in the Vyas river, which was affected by the crowd. Because of that our scheme of Vyas river, in which Hamirpur city was also a main scheme and apart from that the rural scheme of the village, we were affected by this flood. because of.

So our total scheme effect was one hundred and 117 schemes out of one hundred and seventy four which were effected. Some were due to shield and some were due to pipe damage, so we had restored those schemes within five days. Some were restored the other day itself, but it took us five days to restore the scheme of our Hamirpur city.
